What each connected tool gives you

Last updated 8 October 2026Reading this page needs no plan and no connected tool. The gates in the tables below are real: connecting anything except Google Tag Manager counts against your plan’s tool allowance, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer need Pro or above to connect at all, field mapping and Tool Operations need Pro, Template Studio needs Pro, creating a draft email or landing page in your tool from a template is on Enterprise and Partner or a 7-day feature trial, and the Integration Audit Report is on every plan.

Every tool hands MarqIQ a different amount to work with, so the honest answer to "will this work for me" is one row per tool rather than one promise. This page says what each connected tool can feed and names what it cannot, with the reason. For the plan gates rather than the tool gates, read What each plan includes.

How to read this page

Three things decide what you get. Whether MarqIQ can pull records from the tool at all. What the tool exposes beyond records — change history, send results, automations, a forecast. And what your plan allows.

The first two are fixed by the tool and by what MarqIQ has built for it. The third you can change.

Note

A "No" below is as often MarqIQ’s limit as the tool’s, and each table says which. Where MarqIQ cannot read something, the screen that would have shown it says so rather than showing a zero.

Which tools pull records

Eleven tools have a sync engine. Three more are live in the catalogue but are set-up guides for the tracking script rather than sources of records: Google Tag Manager, HTML Forms and WordPress & CMS. There is nothing to sync or analyse from those three.

Salesforce Marketing CloudYesNoPro

Google Tag Manager never counts against your plan’s tool allowance. Every tool in this table does.

Note

Starter connects one tool, Pro two, Business four. Starter and Pro allow one tool per category, so a second CRM needs Business.

Take care

A Pipedrive Lead is not a deal. Leads sit in their own store and are kept out of deal analyses — otherwise every archived lead would arrive in your numbers as a lost deal. Read Why your Pipedrive Leads are missing from deal counts before you compare a total against Pipedrive.

Which analyses each tool can feed

The Analysis screen carries ten tabs. The Overview summarises the other nine and needs nothing of its own. Two of those nine run on any tool that pulls records: Source truth and Audience health. Four depend on what the tool exposes.

HubSpotYes — property historyYesYesYes — workflows

Adobe Journey OptimizerNoNoNoNo

Each column heading is a tab on the Analysis screen. The words after "Yes" are what that tool calls the thing MarqIQ reads.

  • Field discipline needs a record’s change history. Pardot, Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer keep no per-field change history MarqIQ can read, so a field in those tools cannot be held to anything.
  • Salesforce keeps field history only for fields an admin has switched tracking on for, up to 20 per object. An untracked field is named as untestable rather than praised for never changing. OpportunityHistory needs no setup at all, which is why stage regressions and pushed close dates can be judged in any org.
  • Email needs one row per send. HubSpot, Mailchimp and Marketing Cloud report that directly, and MarqIQ counts Marketo’s stream of activities into the same shape for the period you asked for. Account Engagement’s v5 API does not total a period, so Pardot has no email reader yet.
  • Forecast accuracy needs the history of a deal’s stage, forecast category and close date. Pipedrive has no forecast category and marks no stage as closed, so there it judges the stage ladder and close-date slippage only.
  • Marketo is a marketing-automation platform, so its deals live in the CRM it syncs with. Connect that CRM and the forecast is judged there.

Lead scoring, Funnel and Form fills

These three turn on what your own records carry rather than on what the tool exposes, so no tool is refused them outright. What decides the answer is whether MarqIQ has checked how the setup works in your tool, and whether your records hold the data.

MarqIQ holds the implementation for scoring, a stage ladder and a forecast in six tools: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics and Marketo. Where one of those is not set up in your account, the card is still shown, says so plainly, and carries the steps for that tool and that business.

For Pardot, Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer, MarqIQ has not checked how scoring or a stage ladder works. If your records already carry the data, the analysis runs. If they do not, the tab is shown greyed and says MarqIQ has not verified that setup in your tool — never that you failed to do it.

Note

Form fills works differently again. MarqIQ reads the tool’s own forms for HubSpot and Marketo only. For every other tool the fills come from MarqIQ’s tracking script on your website, and appear as soon as the script is live.

Take care

Pipedrive Web Forms are not read. Pipedrive exposes no reporting API for its web forms, campaign emails, landing pages, web visits or automations, so those sections of the audit say so instead of showing a zero. Source truth still reads what your records carry about where each person came from.

Field mapping and Tool Operations need Pro or above. Template Studio needs Pro to build in. Creating a draft email or landing page in your tool from what you built is on Enterprise and Partner, or on a 7-day feature trial. The Integration Audit Report is on every plan.

Note

HubSpot and Marketo carry no separate Field Mapping card, because creating the tracking fields is the first step of Source Tracking Implementation. The standalone page stays open to a direct link.

Writing hidden fields onto live forms and building a source-tracking automation are HubSpot and Marketo only. Everywhere else you map MarqIQ’s tracking fields onto fields that exist, and put the hidden fields on your forms yourself.

Opening a record in your tool from a finding

A finding names a count. Clicking that count lists the exact records it was measured on, and each row links into the tool where the record lives — where MarqIQ holds the address it needs to build that link.

ToolLinks to a recordWhat MarqIQ needs for it
HubSpotYesThe portal id and the portal’s own web address, which differs by HubSpot region. Reconnecting HubSpot picks it up.
SalesforceYesThe instance URL. Reconnecting Salesforce picks it up.
PipedriveYesYour company’s Pipedrive address. Reconnecting Pipedrive picks it up.
Microsoft DynamicsYesThe organisation URL. Reconnecting Dynamics picks it up.
MarketoNoMarqIQ holds Marketo’s API address, which is not the address you sign in to, so a link would land nowhere.
Zoho CRMNoZoho record addresses carry an organisation id MarqIQ does not hold.
Every other toolNoMarqIQ cannot open a record there yet.

Where there is no link, the records are still listed in MarqIQ with everything the finding rests on.

Note

No CRM opens an arbitrary set of ids as a list from a web address. HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive each need a saved list, view or filter, and creating one is a write into your tool. So the set is listed in MarqIQ and each row links out one record at a time.

What has been run against a real account

This matters when you are deciding how much to trust a row above, so it is stated rather than left to be found out.

  • Field discipline and Automations have been run on live HubSpot and Marketo accounts.
  • The forecast reader has been run on a live HubSpot portal.
  • Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and Microsoft Dynamics follow their vendors’ documented APIs and are tested on payloads of that shape. None has been run against a customer account yet, and the same is true of the Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud and Salesforce automation readers.

Note

Every entry in the access guide behind the connect forms is marked "documented" rather than "live", HubSpot’s included. "Live" is reserved for a set of permissions somebody has exercised against a real account holding exactly those permissions, and nobody has yet.

The seven tools in early access

Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics 4, Snowflake, Google BigQuery and Custom API carry Early access at the front of their description on the Browse all tools page. They pull no records, feed no analysis and appear in no audit.

If it did not work

An analysis you expected is greyed out for your tool

Why: The tool cannot feed it. Field discipline needs change history, Email needs per-send results, Automations needs a readable automation list, and Forecast accuracy needs a deal’s stage and close-date history.

Fix: Find your tool in the analyses table above. Where the answer is "No", the greyed tab on the Analysis screen opens and names the same reason — no tab is ever hidden. Read An analysis shows zero, is greyed out, or says it is not set up for what to do next.

A finding’s record count is not clickable

Why: MarqIQ does not hold the web address that tool needs for a record link, or that tool cannot be linked into at all.

Fix: For HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Dynamics, reconnect the tool — the address arrives with the connection and the links appear by themselves. For Marketo and Zoho CRM there is no link to give, so read the listed records in MarqIQ instead.

Your tool is connected but nothing syncs and no audit appears

Why: Google Tag Manager, HTML Forms and WordPress & CMS hold no records. They are set-up guides for the tracking script.

Fix: Connect a tool from the first table as well. Your source data comes from a CRM or a marketing-automation tool; the script fills in where your visitors came from.
