Find a tool’s audit, analysis and plan in Insights
Insights is where you read what one connected tool is telling you, five ways: the Executive Read, the Data Audit, the Analysis, the Suggested Plan and Field Intelligence. Each is a row in the left-hand menu and a page of its own, and a switcher along the top of every page picks the tool. Until October 2026 the five were tabs on a tool’s page three clicks inside Intelligence Studio; old links still open the right view. This article finds each view and says what it is for. To read one in depth, each has its own article, linked below.
Open a view
Open Insights in the left-hand menu.
Its hover menu lists the five views and the printable Health report. Clicking the row itself opens the Executive Read.
Pick the view.
- Executive Read — one tool’s deals as the page a board asks for: win rate, velocity, the sources and people behind the wins, and what to do next.
- Data Audit — the condition of one tool, measured on its synced records: deals, money, lifecycle, sources, and what is wrong underneath.
- Analysis — the ten analyses on one tool: what is working, what is broken, and what to fix first, each with its evidence.
- Suggested Plan — a quarter plan built from what the analyses found: what to fix, what to run beside the fixes, and a roadmap.
- Field Intelligence — every field on every object of one tool: how full it is, what it holds, and which field MarqIQ reads for each role.
Pick the tool along the top of the page.
Every connected tool with records is a pill. The page opens on the tool that holds your deals — else the one holding the most people — or on the tool you chose last time. Your choice travels in the page address, so a link you send opens on the same tool.
Set the Created filter where the view has one.
The Executive Read, Data Audit, Analysis and Suggested Plan cover the same population under the same filter, so the four agree on how many people and deals you have.
A view a tool cannot feed
A tool that syncs people and not deals — Marketo, Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer — has no Executive Read to fill, and the page says so with what it would need. An analysis a tool cannot feed is shown muted, with why.
The two that are not views
- The Health report (printable), last in the same hover menu, is the Integration Audit Report for one tool: a page to print or hand to a stakeholder, on every plan, so a Starter workspace keeps it under Connected Tools as well.
- Report Templates stayed on the tool’s own page under Intelligence Studio › Data sources: it builds reports rather than reading the tool.
Old links
A bookmark, an email or a saved answer that opens a tool’s page under Data sources with a tab named in the address is sent to the matching Insights view on the same tool, with its period and its analysis carried along. The old Analysis address goes the same way. Nothing you saved is lost.
If it did not work
There is no Insights row in your menu
Why: Your role lacks Report Builder & Dashboards, or your plan lacks Build your own reports — Starter does.
Fix: Read A page is missing from my menu, or asks me to upgrade. On Starter, the Health report (printable) under Connected Tools covers one tool.
The tool you want is not a pill along the top
Why: It has no synced records yet, or it is a set-up guide rather than a source — Google Tag Manager, HTML Forms and WordPress & CMS sync nothing.
Fix: Run the tool’s first sync under Connected Tools. The pill appears once records are held.
The view opens on the wrong tool
Why: The address carries no tool, so the page opened on the one you chose last time.
Fix: Pick the tool along the top. Send the address from the bar afterwards; it now names the tool.
